Heksedit is WinMerge's binary file editor component. Heksedit is part of the Frhed binary file editor.

Frhed is open source binary file editor. Heksedit is embeddable editor component of the Frhed program.

Frhed project is developing Heksedit component. WinMerge project only embeds the component to WinMerge.

Only WinMerge-specific changes to Heksedit should be contributed to WinMerge project.
